The 1990s was a decade of economic decline, due to the war in the region and international economic sanctions imposed. Serbia and Montenegro have now developed a programme of far-reaching economic reforms, but face the challenges of implementation. Resolving constitutional and political uncertainties are fundamental to providing a stable legal framework, which should help enable the country to continue its progress towards economic transition and integration with Europe |
